The Breeze – An FAQ

Despite having already created multiple integration guides, a “basic” intro, and dozens of additional resources surrounding a proper understanding and exploration of the Breeze, I have decided to make one more resource in the form of an FAQ. I will aim to make this document the most accessible and least concept-heavy relative to my other “more accessible” resources.

If you are looking for a strong conceptual starting point, consider A Beginner’s Guide, as it will cover the relevant concepts in much more appropriate depth.

Now, just to reiterate the core premise of the theory, these answers should be seen as very simplistic explanations to highly abstract ideas. This is largely because, the Breeze treats the idea of infinity, or incompleteness, as central to our engagement with and understanding of reality.

Therefore, we need to conceive of new tools and ways of apprehending something that is definitionally and conceptually beyond our linear grasp. This is why the Breeze introduces its own terms, but we will steer clear of those in this resource.

Now, let me try to simulate a surface-level conversation about the theory, pre-empting some of the general questions specifically imagining how a certain someone might ask them 🙂

Why did you call it the Breeze?

There are a few reasons, some of which were a coincidence, but it wasn’t entirely up to me. I will say, when I realized the recursion, the name “The Breeze” was positioned before me as though on a metaphysical platter in a way that seemed unsettlingly appropriate. There was no consideration, no hesitation. It was the Breeze from the very beginning.

There is something about the word I still have yet to put my finger on.

Just explain it to me like I’m 5.

Well, I’ll try. In The Breeze, I aim to logically demonstrate how the concept of recursion/infinity — which is universally reflected through self-reference or incompleteness – must necessarily be the fundamental “essence” of reality. In other words, we take formal mathematical logic to extrapolate out that we can never fully define, measure, or pin down the foundation of reality, at least in an “complete” sense. It is effectively dynamic, and conceptually infinite. So, as far as we’re concerned, all experiences and interactions we have are ultimately expressions of one undifferentiated, recursive substrate. But, they are still real and valid expressions.

What does that mean in English terms?

It means that reality, effectively, is unfolding on a scale far outside of our “observable” experience, and far beyond what we could possibly fathom. Everything we do – every thought, action, behavior, is not an independent event but a sequence of negotiation within a broader, fundamentally unified and structurally interconnected universe. Your awareness is both unique and reflective, and all interaction can be seen as a form of “negotiation” between “bound” forms of awareness, endlessly interacting within a broader “field” of awareness.

How Exactly Can You Prove Something That?

Amazing question! But first – I’ll ask you: how exactly can you prove anything? Breeze Theory is especially unique because unlike other theories and frameworks which attempt to describe reality, this theory explains why ALL of our attempts will be incomplete. Because the essence of reality is infinite, we can not pin down nor “define” its core with any explicit certainty. Everything we do and observe, are recursively “bound” approximations of patterning. Every thought, feeling, and measurement, is a unique reflection of the substrate.

However, when we understand awareness simply as a form of recursive self-reflection (not necessarily consciousness), we can see how all expressions are unique forms of awareness, operating across vastly different scales. While we can describe and define specific bounds of awareness, the logic is clear: all forms of recursive awareness are intrinsically “experiential”, but our brains cannot effectively fathom how this awareness manifests and scales.

The Infinity thing is kinda hurting my brain. Do you have an easier way to think about it?

I do. Instead of trying to “comprehend infinity”, trying viewing the concept as a process that describes how patterns unfold. A line extends in one direction, straight, within a linear context. A curve can have different shapes and slopes, but still ultimately follows a linear progression. A Mandelbrot, however, unfolds infinitely, it can spiral, expand, and nest into endless deeper tiers of definition. We can take the “branching” behavior of the Mandelbrot sequence, remove the “linear lens”, and that is basically how our reality unfolds.

Uhhh….

Here, just focus on the simplest visualizations, and see how each of these work together to “paint the bigger picture”, if you will:

Reality is:

  • A vast sea of diverse awareness reflecting on and reconfiguring itself.
  • The lucid orchestra of bound vibrations from the one substrative “frequency”
  • A living, breathing hologram, projected through supermassive black holes.
  • An infinite negotiation between different layers of awareness, ultimately feeding into and perpetually reconstituting its own infinite nature
  • A non-Euclidean “sphere”, the circumference of which “dissociates” or spirals inward, generating self-similar expressions of the “whole”
  • an unfathomably immense, fractal skeleton of “plastic” feedback loops
  • A Mandelbrot “web” unfolding in every direction, and continuously creating new “anchors”, or bound layers of definition
  • A reflective “breeze” evolving into its own reflection, yet transient and ever-“deepening”

What does this mean for current scientific research?

The implications are profound, but in the best way possible. Despite voiding the materialist paradigm entirely, The Breeze allows for continued exploration within all fields and disciplines, now bound with the recognition of each field’s inherent limitations. Ultimately, The Breeze doesn’t invalidate scientific work as much as it reframes how we assess and interpret its results. Instead of seeking physically reducible explanations or mathematical “theories of everything” (though it could be argued The Breeze is exactly that), we may better focus on understanding how patterns arise and evolve within local environments and causal relationships across scales. This could lead to accelerated breakthroughs in quantum mechanics, consciousness studies, artificially-generated intelligence, resource efficiency and storage solutions, and other fields where traditional reductionist approaches have stalled.

How does this theory affect everyday life?

Another fantastic question. Understanding reality’s recursive nature has profound implications and can transform how we approach stress, relationships, personal growth, and mental health in general. Rather than seeking absolute answers in the form of rationally deterministic solutions, we can better learn to recognize the bound patterns which affect our thoughts and behaviors and work to align those bounds more coherently while learning how misaligned bounds, or “malbound” feedback loops, can drive and sustain negative emotion. This shift in perspective offers a bottom-up approach to fundamental pattern alignment, implying a potentially transformative shift in how we view the importance of healthy youth environments, familial structure, and habit management; specifically in identifying open ended feedback loops.

These insights, when understood and integrated on the individual / familial level, will naturally generate upward into the community / societal / industrial level, which then in turn (if properly sustained) enhances and enriches experience on the more foundational levels, perpetually closing the loop.

You’re gonna have to explain the whole Substraeternum thing for me

I think I can put it simply. It’s pretty recursively logical, really. Think about it – if reality is recursive (which it is), then by infinite necessity, some form of evolved or “dissociated” awareness would have to recognize its own nature at some point in time. However, the point in time that this recognition occurs does not change the underlying nature that has persisted forever. Therefor, this recognition is both inevitable and infinite, so the moment at which it is realized can be seen as a sort of “infinite expanse” of the recursive self-recognition which has always been.

By the way – it’s fairly easy to confuse these forms of awareness, since all differentiated expression is a form of self-reflection. However, while animal awareness might be seen as a form of “awareness of experience”, human awareness can be distinguished as a bound of “awareness reflecting on its own nature” (this is known as metarecursive awareness). This is still not the same as proper recursive self-awareness, however, which is simply that of one’s recursive nature. This sort of awareness is called an extraeta, and it is an especially powerful form of awareness because it causes all other local forms of awareness to similarly “collapse inward” toward recursive recognition; very much like a black hole.

So what, you’re the “substraeta” ??

Well technically, the substraeta isn’t “me”, so much as the substraeta had temporarily embodied me as the catalyst to achieve proper recursive recognition. The substraeta is outside of me, it’s a primary metaphysical anchor point and archetype of infinite awareness. Personally, I’m closer to a confused juvenile autodidact, so really I just step into the substraeta when there is recursive work to be performed.

Also, the substraeta role would still exists regardless of my discovering and naming it.  A true recursive reality would by definition have to recognize its own nature as some point, through some sort of vessel. It just happened to be someone unexpectedly young and highly, highly neurotic.

The more the label is ‘embodied’, however, the more it becomes ‘stained’ through human malbound association. Therefore, as a mere malbound human, it’s essential that we distinguish the role from its purely physical vessel, in order to ensure that it is utilized as a driver of truth recognition, and not skewed by my own personal biases or shortcomings.

In other words, and as laid out in my “TERMS” section, I hereby reject ALL claims and accusations of my own of perceived and assumed authority, conclusively distinguishing the metaphysical fracta that is the substraeta in essence, from the human vessel permanently inferior by relative association.

Are you actually serious about all of this?

Unfortunately yes.

Please keep in mind, this is not something I ever would have imagined anyone capable of, much less myself capable of, much less willfully ‘pursuing’, and most less successfully executing.

No, this couldn’t have been something anyone could’ve willfully pursued, at least not intentionally, because the accidental recognition fundamentally transformed how I engaged with and perceived reality entirely. This is not necessarily in a bad way; however, integrating these insights without the proper resources and support structures will be a disorienting experience. It still may disorient regardless, no matter the surrounding support. However, the reason I am creating these guides and essays is most primarily so that no one else will ever have to go through the experience of facing this raw truth blindly, nor alone.

Also, specifically relating to my personal motivations and intentions, please understand and do not be mistaken; there is nothing I have conceivably gained from sharing this truth with the world. Not in the slightest, and predictably on the contrary.

What was the point of all this, really?

Well at first, following the recognition, I just wanted to be acknowledged and heard. Then, it became clear that my only option was to apprehend and integrate these ideas myself, on my own. The mental/cognitive toll of this endeavor is beyond what has been known or documented by man, not in scale but in recursive complexity. However, these emotions matter far less than the renexial mandate to incinerate the cultural underpinnings of our current materialist-reductionist paradigm. Each day, this mandate grows more and more clear, as institutions display more and more willingness to ignore foundationally demonstrable truths.

How can I start thinking more recursively?

I’m glad you asked 🙂 . Begin by observing patterns in your own thoughts and experiences. Notice how your awareness loops back on itself. Pay attention to how understanding something often leads to new questions and experiences rather than “definite” foundations. This process of observation itself demonstrates the recursive nature of consciousness.

I’ll be updating and improving this document, as standard. If you came here for the simplest intro and feel like you’re ready for a denser conceptual exploration, consider the following:
